this is kare11 footage from last night.
police disrupted and shut down the day long legally permitted concert on the state capitol steps when rage against the machine came on stage. this was just after micheal franti performed.
the crowd got pissed and the cops proceeded to chase all the peaceful concert goers away with tear gas and concussion gernades. it looked like this:

there is almost no mention of these incident in the papers, and when there is it is downplayed as a few "anarchists".

i see a concert-sized crowd, walking away. ...for some reason getting tear gassed.

Dis here is a question for you. Why do people who are going to these peaceful demonstrations always have something available to put over their mouths, like a gas mask?
I think a few are really messing it up for the many. Am I right?
how come at these peaceful demonstrations with permits are there 5 zillion cops in full riot gear?
answer to both;
prepare for the worst.
cops WILL shoot teargas and pepper spray, that is a fact.
even at a peaceful demo.
they have proven that.
why the cops are prepared for the worst on the other hand, well...
who knows?
i have never heard of a cop being gravely injured at a demo, so why all the armor?
what are they preparing for?
my guess, creating trouble themselves, and then "ending" the trouble by arresting a bunch of folks while earning overtime pay and patting each other on the back.
got a better theory?
