video monday [tape delay]

c. delores tucker must be rolling in her grave.

where are the hoes in these videos? where's the pool party scene? what? oh, the artists are finally gaining creative control?
shit.

serves her right.
her number one target was 2pac, who undeniably wrote some of the most progessive and political rap music ever*.

record companies have successfully watered rap down to the point of worthlessness for years now, but some artists are taking the power back.

it's time you took notice.

it is important, whether you like the music or not.
don't be another ignorant fuck that doesn't like rap because "it's all just about guns and degrading women".
and, don't be another ignorant fuck that does.

I always thought Third Base had creative control. So did Chi Ali. Man, that kid was awesome...and then he lived the life by appearing on America's Most Wanted!
